Real-time Data Visualization
Dashboard of building energy information providing support for design decision

2022 / TUM, Munich. Solo project
Overview
Problem
Traditional architecture projects tend to exclude residents, relegating them to passive roles as mere observers, while decision-makers take the lead. Residents are eager to voice their genuine needs and contribute to creating better communities through urban planning, but they face limited opportunities to do so effectively. Because face-to-face meetings, the primary avenue for participation, lack flexibility, making it difficult for residents to find the time to attend and engage meaningfully, especially when dealing with large groups and limited materials. These issues hinder the potential for inclusive and impactful residents’ involvement in architectural projects.
Solution
Co-Design Community is a game-like interactive design platform, where architects and residents could participate in discussions about sharing space in collective housing projects together. It provides very intuitive operation for the residents and optimize the process of information collection for architects. Its online game alike character and reduce the complicated and tedious process in reality.
